volume leveling would've gotten you all stars... the layer's volume was set a wee bit too high and it seemed like it was gonna blow my speakers out... as for the animation, not basing this on personal preference, it was good, not the greatest but it's not the worst... pain in the ass to do it frame by frame, huh? in either way for a first time as an author you did pretty good... keep up the good work!

BinaryDood responds:

Thanx!

Yeah... I have lots of trouble with anything related to audio... really... I'll try to give it more attention next time... perhaps I wont forget to do some important stuff

ok i get it... it's for a school project... lets see here... smooth lighting but the objects in the room didn't seem to pull into a sense of realism in comparison to the silent hill movies or games... try adding wood like textures and maybe some grimey-ness to the objects. Now, as far as i remember pyramid head wasn't... ummm... misshapen...? put him on a diet and make a skin for him. personally as soon as "you" turn back around i would have had a arm reach out pull out a gun from the desk then as i spun back i then would've ended scene... seeing how this was a basic design (cuz i didn't see fingers and the sword went through pyramid head's apron as he turned and where's the door you came from?) i see no reason to downgrade ya... btw, sound could use a little work on timing and volume leveling.... good luck! Maya is a pain in the cerebral ass...

Thank you for your awesome review mate.

Critiques are always a pleasure.
I did this in 3Dmax....awful isn't it?

It appears that a sequel to the game was once in development. "I still occasionally hear from fans of The Legend of Dragoon, and many want to know if there is a sequel," Yoshida admitted. "LOD2 was put into preproduction after I left the Japan Studio, but was eventually cancelled for some unknown reason, and the team members moved on to different projects." Said Shu Yoshida (CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, ex- project lead). It is available to buy on PSN, however and is not for Xbox because sony made this game personally.

Now that's out of the way, this flash visually didn't do LOD justice, due to extraneous pixel guano and not all the characters had a hand in showing off their moves as well. The sound was spot on and a rush of nostalgia came flooding back. However, you left it at a cliff hanger!?! Are you going to finish this? Or is this project of yours gonna cease for some unknown reason? I'll leave that to you i'm off to go play LOD now... Good luck on your future endevors!

AngelXMIkey responds:

Didnt do it Justice? Cease to Finish. If you have played the game you would know why it ended that way, I cant do the whole freakin story. Did you even read the description? This was for a competition, so I couldn't just keep going.

great animation! nice voices! wonderful jokes! i wonder though.... Ever heard of Zelda UO? it was done by another artist of newgrounds who left the series hanging... after whatching this i personally think you have the talent to finish it... but hey it's only a idea to ponder... good luck in your future endevors and keep up the great work!

ArtistGamerGal responds:

I'm not a very big fan of that series to be honest... I don't really like the tweening animation style. But thanks for the feedback!

ahhh the memories.... whenever i wasn't playing legend of dragoon i was playing this... hope ya don't leave a series hangin' like some of the other animators... keep up the good work!

NessSuccess responds:

I promise I will try not to, I have done that before, but Lunar gets special treatment. Thank you for the review!

heads up brudda... i noticed in the credits you didn't give credit to the bg music... you might wanna change that so nintendo doesn't find ya and rape you finacially with a cactus... no lube or a reach around either... cuz there are people in nintendo who do go to this site and seeing that yer on the front page i thought i'd wanna let you know.... good animation and concept, not my cup of tea though... keep up the good work!

very good

i got a song for the next one (if there is gonna really be a next one). Prodigy- smack my b!tch up. also more character would be awesome i.e. vergil from devil may cry 3, goku from DBZ, chipp from Guilty Gear... ect.. overall try other character outside nintendo... i think i have the sprite sheet for vergil from my m.u.g.e.n program. the was very well done and the sprite mastery seem flawless. keep up the good work!

Short-Factor responds:

Several things my friend.
1. Yes. Sequel is in the making.
2. Smack My Bitch Up? That's the best you can think of? Its not only tacky as shit and been used a million times, but NASF 2's soundtrack is video game only.
3. No anime characters or characters of non-VG origin. The roster is determined now anyway.
4. I'm making the sprites.

it's like a feald of dreams...

sorry that was bad joke... you have a lot of potential to be even greater, but for now you have done very well and for your hard work full rating... Keep animatin' brudda! good luck!

CooliSushi responds:

lol thanks! sorry for spelling field wrong

funny...

But if only you put more emphasis on the whole genre... It was good though... Btw, DUSTMAN21 there is puke... Your wrong, watch katekyo hitman reborn and surely the author can give you more as well and learn how to spell! You ain't a lol cat... Ok, back to the flash, the girls voice could change but it's completely understandable if it's just you. Other than that, I give it a 9/10 and 4/5 because lack of other anime like qualities. Keep up the good work!

Chimbley responds:

It was me doing the girls voice because I am poor and cant afford Rina Chan lol

yes!

that was good... DEATH TO ALL CLOCKS AND LOCKS!!!! just for that yer rated highly!

RazorHawk responds:

Well, I don't passionately hate the Clock Crew, but it is fun to watch them taking a beating.

But hey, thanks dude.

Don't make me Chuck Norris you in the soul...
